Ecological security is an important guarantee of human and survival, closely related to sustainable development. However, the ecological evaluation driving force analysis oases in arid areas still insufficient. Ejina Oasis’s has experienced significant shifts following centralized management Heihe River’s water allocation. Understanding region paramount for oasis’s long-term sustainability. This paper employed Pressure–State–Response (P–S–R) model select socioeconomic indicators, establish a comprehensive index system, then analyze evolving region. Additionally, this explored relationship between changes area, oasis by using gray correlation degree quantify influence Land Use Changes (LUCCs) on overall security. From 2000 2012, Oasis remained relatively stable at around 0.4. noticeable upward trend emerged from 2012 2020, indicating shift toward improved Critical determinants change included habitat degradation degree, total population, quality, carbon stock, fractional vegetation cover (FVC), proportion tertiary industry, volume discharged Wolf Heart Mountain. The degradation, industry had greatest impact pressure was dominant influencing before but gradually transitioned state index. study offers valuable framework assessing intricate LUCCs water-scarce, arid-region oases.

Climate change affects the world economy, environment, and human well-being, jeopardizing overall sustainability. The escalating impacts of climate emphasize necessity to assess moderating influence environmental policy stringency (EPS) on association energy transition (ET) GHG emissions from 1990 2020 across 36 OECD countries. Further, this study incorporates direct impact (ET), environmental-related technology (ERTs), green innovation (INV), Gross Domestic Product (GDP) emission. For purpose, employs an extensive range econometric techniques, including DOLS, FMOLS, CCR, MMQR approaches evaluate data attributes. findings demonstrate that interaction ET*EPS contributes lower −0.271% −0.300% all quantiles (20th 80th). This indicates implementation policies fosters adoption transitions mitigate negative effects change, particularly reduce emissions. technologies (ERTs) (INV) decrease by 0.15%–0.13% 0.967%–2.049%, respectively, quantiles, thus encouraging heterogeneous effect ERTs is due varying levels in sample highlight crucial need for integrating strictness measures effectively It highlights significance adaptive, responsive are line with SDGs 7 & 13, which concentrate sustainable practices integrated action economies.

This study delves into the intricate relationship between economic growth and its ecological repercussions, employing a comprehensive assessment of footprint across 131 nations. The time period considered for research spans from 2009 to 2019. Utilizing CS-ARDL methodology, results indicate correlation reducing bolstering private sector domestic credit. Additionally, diminishing credit banks augmenting within financial has been identified. In conjunction with other indicators advancement, significance lending underscored. reveals notable reduction in human population's adverse impact on environment. However, increased levels energy consumption, foreign direct investment per capita GDP are associated an improvement global quality life. Particularly noteworthy is validation "pollution haven hypothesis" context. implications this substantial; suggesting that dynamics may support efforts towards environmental conservation. outcomes vary regions or countries, particularly regarding emphasis placed by preservation. comprehensively examines complex nexus progress consequences, keeping consideration factors such as growth, urbanization, consumption Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
