The main purpose of wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is to reduce organic and inorganic pollutants meet standards. But WWTPs employing up flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactors under psychrophilic temperature are currently removing about 55% chemical oxygen demand (COD) 70% total dissolved solids (TSS). research was done increase the efficiencies UASB reactor working conditions through optimization operational parameters like temperature, loading rate (OLR), pH hydraulic retention time (HRT). Experimentation carried out in a 0.0486 m3 square-shaped pilot-scale reactor. Experimental design response surface method (RSM) for performance enhancement five levels central composite (CCD) used. optimized obtained from CCD-RSM were as follows: 21.58 °C, OLR 2.99 kg COD/m3.d, HRT 4.37hrs 6.3. Using parameters, tests yielded 92.70%, 99.06%, 94.50% COD, TSS, volatile suspended solid (VSS) respectively. outlet concentrations alkalinity, fatty acids (VFA), found be lower than inlet concentrations. alkalinity system accepts hydrogen ion released by taken over methanogensis maintain pH. concentration sulfate increasing due inhabitation sulfur-reducing bacteria an condition VFA at less 7.8.This process favors production CH4 H2S gas. Power production through combustion of fuels plays a vital role in the progress nation. In liquid fuels, biodiesel has emerged as potential replacement fossil fuel. this regard, improvement fuel properties or adjustment operating parameters can improve efficiency and lower emission for run diesel engine. current study focuses on use novel nano blended biodiesel, prepared by blending titanium dioxide particles along Eichhornia Crassipes biodiesel. Three different blends are having composition 50 ppm, 100 ppm 150 which is tested four stroke, single cylinder, naturally aspirated water cooled engine 3.5 kW rated power loading conditions performance, emission, evaluation. Further, at same conditions, blend injection pressure 220 bar. The findings suggests that brake thermal improves emissions lowers with addition high pressure. maximum 1.01% comparison to mode been found bar under full condition. For composition, hydrocarbon carbon monoxide were minimum 60% load.

Biodiesel has emerged as a compelling substitute for conventional diesel fuel, providing sustainable and eco-friendly choice fueling compression ignition engines. This comprehensive study investigates the influence of biodiesel, specifically derived from sunflower oil, through esterification method, on crucial engine performance parameters environmental effects. The examines impact varying torque single-cylinder, four-stroke engine, encompassing such brake thermal efficiency (BTE) specific fuel consumption (BSFC), well exhaust emissions, including unburned hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx). Four distinct biodiesel blends (B10, B20, B30, B40) with oil content are systematically compared to pure (B0). operates at consistent speed 1700 rpm, while undergoes controlled adjustments 0 10 Nm. Subsequently, this explores application an alternating model tree (AMT) machine learning algorithm establish relationships between independent factors, volume (%vol), dependent variables, BTE, BSFC, CO, NOx in combustion engine. Additionally, employs multi-objective ameliorative whale optimization (AWOA) optimize model's output. objective is identify optimal values %vol that maximize minimizing emissions (CO NOx) reducing (BSFC). process yields noteworthy results, AWOA achieving peak BTE 29.714%, BSFC 0.262 kg.kWh-1, 992 ppm 7.3 N.m 13% vol. In contrast, particle swarm (PSO) secured minimum CO level 0.123%, set 7.6 26% AMT models demonstrate high prediction accuracy, coefficient determination (R2) exceeding 0.98.
