This
study
reviewed
19
papers
on
solar
electric
vehicles
(SEVs)
published
by
Korean
research
institutions
and
analyzed
their
trends.
The
collected
were
categorized
into
five
main
topics:
vehicle-integrated
photovoltaic
(VIPV)
systems,
system
integration,
control
strategies,
performance
estimation,
market
environmental
assessment.
Research
VIPV
systems
focused
lightweight
design
adaptability
to
curved
surfaces,
while
studies
strategies
emphasized
parking
space
optimization
route
planning.
System
integration
highlighted
efficient
energy
management
between
batteries
modules,
estimation
explored
GIS-based
assessments
of
potential.
However,
assessment
remains
limited.
Future
should
explore
new
areas
such
as
car
racing,
advanced
vehicle
design,
optimized
powertrain
expand
SEV
applications.
Additionally,
active
participation
in
international
conferences
standardization
initiatives
is
essential
enhance
the
global
competitiveness

ABSTRACT
Nonuniformity
of
irradiation
in
photovoltaic
(PV)
modules
causes
a
current
mismatch

cells,

leads
to
energy
losses.

vehicle‐integrated
PV
(VIPV),
nonuniformity
is
typically
studied
for
self‐shading
effect
caused
by
curvature
modules.
This
study
uncovers
impact
topography
on
distribution
sunlight
vehicle
surfaces,
focusing
two
distinct
scenarios:
flat‐surface
cargo
area
small
delivery
truck
and
entire
body
commercial
passenger
vehicle.

employ
commuter
pattern
