ABSTRACT This study contributes to the literature on sustainable development by investigating mechanisms through which green finance fosters sustainability in emerging economies. Given increasing importance of artificial intelligence (AI) and renewable energy environmental transitions, we explore their roles as mediators relationship between sustainability. Using a dataset covering 2015–2022, apply Baron Kenny's (1986) mediation approach combined with advanced econometric techniques assess finance's direct indirect effects development. Our findings reveal that directly enhances while significantly promoting AI capacity. However, once these are included, effect weakens, indicating partial effect. Moreover, identifies additional mediating role linking capacity amplifying its overall impact. These results highlight critical interplay finance, AI, achieving economic Policymakers economies should prioritize initiatives, invest AI‐driven clean solutions, support decentralized projects accelerate transitions.

Under the "dual carbon" goal, it is necessary for China's logistics industry to accelerate its green and low-carbon transformation. At same time, increasingly mature development of finance continuous improvement technological innovation are expected provide impetus development. This study based on 450 sample data from 30 provinces in China 2005 2019, exploring how affect industry, as well mechanisms heterogeneity characteristics moderating variables industrial structure environmental regulation above process. We find that: Firstly, can promote industry. Secondly, play a regulatory threshold role procedure promoting Thirdly, effects all exhibit significant characteristics. Thus, innovation, coupled with more reasonable policies appropriate regulation, should be taken into full consideration effectively achieve Furthermore, considering that has become complex due factors such different regional economic levels, this paper proposes targeted differentiated approach i.e., "phased, regional, gradual development" strategy. important theoretical significance practical value China, which stage rapid unbalanced development, goals.

Abstract Despite the increasing mobilization of climate finance under international frameworks, its effectiveness in achieving tangible mitigation and adaptation outcomes developing countries remains empirically underexamined. This study evaluates by examining impact on both greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions outcomes. Using panel data from 30 over period 2010–2021 applying fixed-effects econometric models, analysis investigates effects total finance, as well disaggregated flows, key indicators including GHG emissions, agricultural productivity, water resource efficiency, climate-induced economic losses. The results indicate that a 1% increase is associated with 0.03% reduction highlighting role supporting low-carbon transitions. Mitigation demonstrates significant positive productivity but exhibits limited influence efficiency. Conversely, shows correlation losses short term, potentially reflecting reactive allocation funds to highly vulnerable regions. These findings suggest need for more proactive synergistic financing strategies. Policy implications include prioritizing long-term resilience investments, enhancing balance between allocations, improving evaluation frameworks maximize sustainable development goals.
