Bu çalışmanın amacı, Covid-19 salgını döneminde dijitalleşen gümrük mevzuat uygulamalarının, dış ticaretteki operasyonel süreçleri nasıl etkilediğini değerlendirmektir. Bunun için Marmara bölgesindeki gümrüklerle çalışan müşavirleri ve ticaret uzmanlarıyla mülakat yöntemine dayalı bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulguların, işletmelerdeki süreçlerde, yeni durumun olumlu olumsuz yönlerini dikkate alarak, geliştirilebilir alanların neler olduğu tespitine katkı sağlaması hedeflenmiştir. İncelemenin genel çıkarımı dijitalleşmenin süreçlerini etkilediği yönündedir. Çalışmada, gelecekte devlet kurumları sektöründe çalışanların ihtiyaçlarına yönelik kolaylık sağlayıcı tavsiyelere yer verilmiştir.
