Soil ecosystems are under serious threat from microplastics (MPs), and this is causing worldwide concern. The relationship between soil MPs has become a popular research topic, the vertical migration of increasing interest. This Review summarizes current status into factors affecting MPs. Published shows that characteristics physicochemical properties affect infiltration process. organisms play key role in by acting as vectors or result adsorption. Dissolved organic matter metal oxides transfer adsorption-desorption. In addition, rainfall dry-wet cycles alter mobility MPs, leading to changes processes. Agricultural activities such tillage irrigation may distribute throughout topsoil. Vertical process influenced combination factors, these MP deposition needs be explored further.

This study presents a systematic calibration of discrete element model (DEM) parameters for fermented grains (19.4% moisture) using the Hertz–Mindlin with JKR contact to optimize robotic end-effector design in liquor distillation. By integrating cylinder lift experiments and response surface methodology, we identified three critical (JKR energy, restitution, rolling friction coefficients) through Plackett–Burman screening steepest ascent optimization. The Box–Behnken derived optimal values 0.0429 J/m2 0.183 restitution coefficient, 0.216 coefficient. validation results demonstrated excellent agreement between simulated experimental angles repose (AORs), AOR 36.805° an value 36.412°, corresponding 1.08% error. geometric congruence deposition morphology notable symmetrical distribution characteristics left right confirm robustness parameter methodology. provides theoretical basis kinematic optimization mechanism grain-loading robots, providing insights advancing automated control solid-state distillation processes.
