Promoting high-quality economic development, boosting high-level ecological environment protection, and integrating deeply digital economy energy efficiency has become a general trend. This paper, based on 284 prefecture-level Chinese cities from 2008 to 2018, uses the entropy weight method super-efficient SBM-DEA model measure (decompose into pure technical scale efficiency), respectively. After spatial temporal evolution characteristics, fixed-effect is constructed study impact of efficiency. The rising carbon dioxide emissions from the MENA region constitute a severe danger to environment, public health, and execution of United Nations SDGs. Abstract Similar to many other developing and developed countries, China grapples with the challenge of balancing economic growth environmental preservation. This study, anchored in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 7, 11, 12, 13, investigates impact eco‐innovation sustainable energy on CO 2 emissions (CE) from 1980 2020, using STIRPAT model. Employing autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model bootstrap rolling window causality analysis, we uncover causal relationships between CE its determinants, assessing them sub‐sample periods. ARDL estimates reveal that policy uncertainty, growth, urbanization increase CE, while decrease it. Time‐varying analysis demonstrates predictive capabilities all independent variables at various sub‐periods. The study recommends substantial increases subsidies tax incentives for renewable energy, emphasizing stable ecological policies, irrespective conditions, lasting benefits.

The Carbon trading price (CTP) can best reflect the fluctuations of carbon market. This paper comprehensively analyzes CTP mechanism China’s market, discusses main factors affecting CTP, which include macroeconomic factors, energy policy and environmental provides three hypotheses. In order to highlight test hypotheses about five representative pilot markets were included: Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hubei, Guangdong, daily average data (over years) adapted from January 2017 December 2021, using a dynamic heterogeneous panel PMG model. current selects China air quality index (AQI), Bohai-Rim steam-coal (BSPI), Liquefied natural gas (LNGI), Shanghai stock exchange industrial (SSEII) as explanatory variables. empirical results show that there is long-term equilibrium relationship between AQI, price, macroeconomics. Strengthening governance, optimizing structure, expanding market coverage should be adopted improve emission trade (CCETE) stabilize CTP.
