Abstract There is a notable scarcity of literature addressing the complex affiliation amidst natural resources, water productivity (WPROD), and food production index (FPI). Existing research focuses on emerging developing countries, primarily centering initial objectives sustainable development. To bridge this gap, our delves into nexus WPROD, FPI, total land resources (TLRS). Additionally, study explores persuasive roles income (GDP) renewable energy consumption (REC). Employing time series methodologies, we utilize DF‐GLS unit root assessment to assess variable static method Bayer‐Hanck test scrutinize long‐term equilibrium. The primary analysis employs least squares approach with breakpoints, supplemented by Robust for validation. For causal relationships between variables, deployed Granger causality approach. Our outcomes disclose that variables are at first difference, indicating long‐run equilibrium among all variables. Empirical suggest resource curse associated TLRS, as it negatively influences both WPROD regardless breaks. increase in coefficients 1% causes decrease −0.35% −0.185%. In contrast, GDP positively impact index, even presence structural Robustness checks yield‐mixed outcomes, though overall results remain significant consistent main methods. Causality indicates bi‐directional linkage energy, productivity, production, while demonstrates uni‐directional study. We provide relevant policies under targets COP 27 manage USA.

The literature review demonstrate an importance of research in relations between innovativeness the countries and energy mix. purpose publication is to analyze whether a country's higher innovation translates into investment renewable sources, particular, such as photovoltaics, wind or bioenergy. It also analyzes will reduce use traditional, non-renewable sources. analysis was carried out for European Union 2015–2020. conducted showed strong positive relationship index economy share renewables its study confirmed hypothesis that innovative economies first decarbonize by withdrawing from significant coal Energy However, some sub-hypotheses were not confirmed, hard gas emphasizes improving level whole, including open innovation, basis successful transition. Furthermore, indicates low mix Central Eastern due lack commitment, but rather innovation. Therefore, governments should focus on implementing concept at all levels education business achieve faster
