Under the "dual carbon" goal, it is necessary for China's logistics industry to accelerate its green and low-carbon transformation. This study presents the maiden empirical evidence disintegrating impacts of natural resources on environmental sustainability into production and consumption models. For easy trackability evidence, is captured by carbon emissions ecological footprint in selected G20 economies with ta running from 1995 to 2019. To elaborate study’s contributions, green policies comprising energy, technology, finance together tax, financial development, economic growth, population are considered as covariates STIRPAT embedded theoretical framework. The verification anchors second-generation estimators entailing cross-sectional autoregressive distributed lag (CS-ARDL), common correlated effects mean group (AMG), method moment quantile regression fallouts analyses reveal that based coal oil hinder sustainability, although former has greater than latter. Interestingly, gas provides diverging direct indirect both pollutants. More so, taxes support promoting sustainability. Additionally, two channels causalities, including unidirectional bidirectional nexuses, apparent estimated model. highlights importance eliminating fossil fuel subsidies making substantial investments key recommendations for policy action.

Sustainable Development Goal 12 (SDG 12) is vital for promoting sustainable development by enhancing resource efficiency, minimizing waste, and fostering practices across supply chains. This research investigates production consumption dynamics in European Union countries, drawing on official data from the EU Statistical Office (Eurostat). It employs AAA (Holt–Winters) exponential smoothing algorithm to analyze trends selected sustainability indicators. Despite notable progress, challenges such as regional disparities economic barriers remain significant. provides critical insights into evolution of responsible projecting until 2030. The findings emphasize need integrated policies, practices, collaborative efforts among stakeholders meet EU’s objectives. The shift to zero-carbon emissions nurtures enormous economic opportunities owing stimulating the creation of new industries, offering jobs, and driving technological innovation. This study aims investigate dynamics among public–private energy investment, natural resources rent, environmental technologies, carbon neutrality in China over period spanning from 1984 2021. We employ autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) method determine long-term short-term connections between those factors. Kernel-based Regularized Least Squares (KRLS) machine learning approach is used for robustness check. Our findings demonstrate that while public-private investment technology decrease, rent linked increased emissions. Moreover, moderating effect raises success rate supporting net-zero . call reassessing policy priorities harness potential investments innovations protection, addressing challenges urbanization growth.
