Abstract
Clean
cooking
fuels
and
technologies
are
crucial
for
tackling
environmental
degradation,
climate
change,
deforestation,
health
issues,
air
pollution,
poverty.
However,
many
African
countries,
including
Nigeria,
continue
to
face
significant
challenges
in
accessing
these
resources.
Existing
research
provides
limited
insights
into
the
factors
influencing
adoption
of
clean
technologies,
particularly
when
analyzed
through
macroeconomic
indicators
from
2000
2022.
Due
nature
data,
nonlinear
techniques
were
employed
uncover
associations.
Specifically,
innovative
Wavelet
Kernel
Regularized
Least
Squares
method
was
applied
examine
impact
financial
development,
renewable
energy
consumption,
information
communication
technology
(ICT),
political
risk
on
access
(ACE).
Additionally,
wavelet
quantile
cointegration
introduced
assess
relationships
among
variables.
The
results
reveal
that
economic
growth
has
a
minimal
ACE
short
term
but
becomes
more
over
time.
ICT
positively
influences
medium
long
term,
while
development
tends
reduce
ACE.
Renewable
consumption
promotes
ACE,
whereas
impedes
it
