Tungsten is an irreplaceable primary material and strategic resource for national economic development modern defense security. The endowment of tungsten ore resources in various countries different; we should not only focus on the availability itself but also sustainability its entire process from upstream supply to downstream industry demand. Analyzing evolution demand patterns trade perspective industrial chain, identifying key subjects, exploring influencing factors has become important research topic. Therefore, construct global networks based analyze overall characteristics, explore critical entities, identify China’s position. We got some meaningful results: (1) have prominent power-law distribution characteristics. trend globalization evident, dominance still hands a few developed or developing with manufacturing industries. (2) In different parts impact endowment, technology level, geographical location country’s role different. (3) position chain value constantly improving, there risk high-end being “stuck.” This provides suggestions systematic understanding pattern how occupy dominant game resources.

As global economic competition intensifies, collaborative innovation in strategic emerging industries has become a key factor promoting growth and business development, attracting widespread attention. To delve into the mechanisms of among China’s industries, this study employs social network analysis. It investigates characteristics these by analyzing 8,775,496 invention patents, exploring impact inter-industry networks on innovation. Furthermore, incorporates industry knowledge acquisition as mediating variable density within individual moderating variable, to more comprehensively explain mechanism. We find that relational structural embeddings significantly positively affect performance, highlighting importance partnerships critical role configurations. Additionally, breadth depth mediate relationship between embedding emphasizing pivotal fostering Lastly, moderates relationships both revealing specific impacts internal external These findings not only provide practical guidance for across but also offer new insights implications policy-making academic research. This study investigates the potential impact of China’s dominant position in global tungsten production on its national economic growth, examining applicability resource curse hypothesis. While prior research has extensively explored relation to oil and other resources, role remains largely unexplored. Utilizing annual data from 1994 2022, this employs an autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) bounds testing approach analyze long-run relationship between per capita income GDP. The results reveal a significant negative relationship, suggesting that increased may be associated with decline overall output, supporting contributes growing body literature by investigating unique case highlighting importance sustainable management, diversification, effective governance maximizing benefits while mitigating downsides.
