The increasing demand for gold necessitates the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly recovery methods, particularly from mining waste. In this study, trace ultra-trace levels ions were preconcentrated using solidified floating organic drop microextraction (SFODME) quantified by flow injection–flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FI-FAAS). Sodium diethyldithiocarbamate was used as chelating agent. Key parameters, including pH, buffer volume, complexing agent concentration, salt effect, extraction time, stirring speed, temperature, final optimized univariate analysis, yielding an enhancement factor 42.6. method demonstrated linearity between 20 450 µg/L, with limits detection a quantification 5.03 µg/L 16.76 respectively. order to evaluate applicability reliability developed method, applied certified reference samples (Rocklabs CRM SE114, OREAS 61 f, 231, 235) real (mining waste open pit gold–silver mine in Aegean Region tailing underground Region) after sample preparation procedure. further evaluated environmental impact Analytic GREEnness (AGREE) metric, based on 12 principles green chemistry.
