The insurance industry is constantly evolving with the help of technological advancements across globe. purpose this study was to explore critical factors that influence adoption digital among microentrepreneurs in Uganda. involved 209 participants. used a modified DOI theory as framework and analyzed data using structural equation modeling (IBM SPSS Amos 23.0). results indicated knowledge insurance, relative advantage, perceived trust have significant positive impact on micro-entrepreneurs Conversely, found social had no impact. One essential component of insurance technology (Insurtech) is peer-to-peer (P2P) insurance, which represents a transformative shift from conventional to digital platforms by fostering community-based risk sharing. This study contributes the body knowledge engaging Technology Acceptance Model (TAM2) explore how perceived usefulness, ease use, subjective norms, and trust influence adoption P2P moderating income on these relationships. used self-administered survey questionnaire collect data short-term clients in South Africa. The was analysed using confirmatory factor analysis structural equation modelling (SEM) approach. findings demonstrate that norms present significant positive underscoring relevance value, social predicting technologies, particularly insurance. However, exhibit but statistically insignificant relationship. Additionally, this reveals exerts affecting adoption, implying individuals with higher incomes are responsive factors when considering highlights need for policies support development infrastructure, as its accessibility including predicted drivers adoption. This study examines factors influencing this integration, assessing both enablers barriers, including application programming interfaces, artificial intelligence, real-time risk assessment, cybersecurity, outdated infrastructure, regulatory alignment. A quantitative approach was employed, gathering data from 253 professionals Arabia’s sectors, managers handling underwriting investment, compliance officers ensuring compliance, information specialists overseeing system policymakers shaping industry regulations. Structural equation modeling revealed that interfaces (β = 0.78, p 0.020), intelligence 0.70, 0.025), assessment 0.62, 0.030) significantly facilitate while cybersecurity vulnerabilities 0.57, 0.035), infrastructure 0.54, 0.040), misalignment 0.035) pose major barriers.
