Within the energy sector, potential to effectively harness considerable present in gas turbine waste heat via an organic Rankine cycle (ORC) could markedly improve overall efficiency. This investigation centers on a printed-circuit exchanger (PCHE) utilizing cyclopentane as working fluid. The study employs combination of experimental techniques and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations conduct in-depth analysis PCHE’s performance, leading successful development highly accurate heat-transfer correlation. A thorough comparison simulation data is carried out examine temperature pressure distributions within exchanger. maximum deviation between correlation-estimated 20% (hot fluid: 15%; cold 18%). These findings offer essential theoretical insights practical guidance for optimizing ensuring stable operation waste-heat recovery systems.
