This study aims to produce technology-based waterped media and determine the effectiveness of in improving reading comprehension skills. Research development refers steps developed by Borg Gall, including ten steps. (1) information collection, (2) planning, (3) initial product development, (4) field trials, (5) revision, (6) main (7) (8) operational (9) final (10) dissemination implementation. The subjects trials involved 34 students two grade V teachers. study's data collection techniques instruments used were questionnaires, scales (media validation material validation), tests. showed that could improve skills "very good" category. press can be seen from test results using independent sample t-test, which shows a significance value 0.501 or sig value> 0.05 so there is significant difference between control experimental classes before after watered media.
