The UV-VIS method is an effective, non-destructive that enables a better understanding of the electrolyte during corrosion. aim study presented in this paper to determine existence organometallic complex 0.5 M NaCl solution with addition Rubus fruticosus L. leaf extract (RFLE). experiments were conducted RFLE (5 g/L and 10 g/L) without immersion copper coupon. results show after coupon standing electrolyte, there change absorbance maximum 5 RFLE, while no observed RFLE. Such indicates copper-RFLE lower inhibitor concentration. In case forming caffeic acid, isoquercetin astragalin possible. absence at concentration can be attributed mechanism lack ions due adequate corrosion protection.
