Motives: Urban development is associated with the emergence of problems such as pollution, traffic congestion, and suburbanisation. Effective transportation mobility policies can play an important role in mitigating these problems. Aim: This article explores issue shaping urban through Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS). The key elements relevant to implementation MaaS by city authorities were identified based on a systematic literature review PRISMA methodology. Different approaches defining methods for measuring its effectiveness examined detail. Challenges issues related concept also analysed. Results: results showed that successful requires high level digitalisation collaboration between public private sectors. absence hinder MaaS. present findings highlighted current research neglects participation process, which may lead lower user acceptance reduced interest from companies.

Ensuring a sustainable and efficient transportation system meeting visitor mobility needs is paramount for mass tourist destinations. Recognising this challenge, some destinations are embracing Mobility as Service (MaaS) solutions strategy to create more tourists. This study uses discrete choice experiment analyse tourists’ preferences willingness pay MaaS packages in two well-known municipalities of the Canary Islands, one Europe’s premier tourism The empirical evidence taste heterogeneity revealed by analysis indicates that one-size-fits-all solution inadequate.
