Abstract Parental support helps children manage stress and regulate emotions. As mature, their need for parental evolves to align with age-specific developmental challenges. In non-Western societies, little is known about how children’s experiences of situations as stressful influence decision seek support. order investigate this, we conducted a cross-sectional, qualitative study utilising an autobiographical memory method between the ages 9–12 years from South Africa (n = 73, Mage 10.75, SD 0.99), China 115, 10.48, 0.71) Iran 66, 10.28, 0.88) recall support-related memories both parents using questionnaire devised study. Our findings indicate that require most frequently when faced academic difficulties competencies, social conflict struggles autonomy. The romantic relationship is an interesting topic to study because it emerges as important part of adolescent development that becomes increasingly in subsequent years individual development. Research on youth's suicidal behavior often focuses individuals rather than families. This exploratory research is related to family relations in female youths with behavior. study's respondents were ten (aged 15 24) divided into two groups: ' attempt' and 'no-attempt'. The FACES IV, communication scale, satisfaction scale given at the beginning of study, which was continued in-depth interviews explore flexibility, cohesion, their relations. In attempt group, IV resulted low balanced cohesion (35.8 respectively), flexibility (41.2 (15.4 respectively). Surprisingly, all participants both groups rated levels low, meaning that dissatisfied functioning. interview eight main themes: lack emotional closeness, conflict, sibling relationship, leadership family, obedience, autonomy, control, mendhem rasa (buried emotion, Javanese culture), weak skills. conclusion, family's hierarchical relationships, distance become risk factors for adolescent perspectives found this study suggest family-based prevention intervention need understand cultural values while encouraging build closeness skills family.

Adolescents' antisocial behavior and negative conflict management styles are each associated with adverse romantic relationship outcomes, yet little research exists on their associations. We investigated whether adolescents' was styles, it predicted breakup 3 months later. In total, 91 adolescent couples ( M age = 16.43, SD 0.99; 41.2% Hispanic/Latinx) participated in videotaped discussions coded for negotiation, coercion, avoidance. Actor–partner interdependence models suggest is decreased use of negotiation (couple pattern) increased coercion (actor pattern). No significant associations were found Neither nor breakup. Findings discussed light the unique developmental importance relationships.
