ABSTRACT The water pumping system is a vital daily operation for sustainable society. demand this essential commodity progressively growing around the world. Incorporating renewable energy sources (RES) into its mitigates adverse environmental effects stemming from greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and reduces associated costs linked to fossil fuel sources. Hence, optimal sizing of hybrid mix RES non‐RES power essential. This study employs generalized reduced gradient (GRG) optimization method ascertain most effective (WPS) application by integrating time use response. achieved through four scenarios: Scenario 1 (S1) utilizes grid Diesel generator (DG) sources, 2 (S2) incorporates power, DG, solar PV, 3 (S3) integrates biomass while 4 (S4) Time Use (TOU) with three aforementioned key findings reveal an ideal solution comprising PV along non‐renewable source embedded response capacities 4007 kW 4228 grid, 234 biomass, 1085 DG owing least cost pumped 0.75$/kW 1.74$/kL, respectively, volume 270.50 kL. These prove that integration TOU program grid‐biomass‐DG‐solar best suited applications as it gives cost‐competitive value.

Abstract Studying and evaluating the power quality (PQ) of an electrical network for nuclear installation is important issue a hot research topic guaranteeing reliable safe operation sensitive loads during this type installation. As several PQ phenomena determine overall performance, analyzing signals one major challenges researchers in field. Technically, voltage imbalance, current harmonic distortion, factor are five that judge performance system. Multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) used here as methodology to identify weighting each phenomenon. This paper proposes evaluation method reactor (NRR) based on two MCDM. Methods analytic hierarchy process (AHP) criterion importance through inter-criteria correlation (CRITIC). A MATLAB/Simulink model NRR system presented, then its validity credibility verified via measurements. In study, different abnormal conditions simulated generate disturbances, including three-phase nonlinear load simulate harmonics, unbalanced unbalance, inductive change factor. The effectiveness robustness proposed demonstrated these case studies. results show obtained CPQI dynamic weight approach allows more accurate evaluations by adjusting various depending operational priorities. main contribution single compound index (CPQI) was developed both weights from AHP-CRITIC methods under conditions, considering threshold level phenomena. analysis shows accurately evaluates performance.

The Hubei section of the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) has an important strategic position as core zone central part YREB, and advantages disadvantages its ecological environment are closely related to development quality whole YREB. Moreover, systematic assessment vulnerability is great significance regional environmental protection, rational exploitation utilization resources, sustainable development. Based on pressure–state–response–management model, this study analyzes spatial temporal evolution characteristics YREB influencing factors using G1–CRITIC–game theory combination weighting, Theil index, Ridge regression model. results show that from 2010 2023, area was characterized by medium vulnerability, with average share 58.2%; degree rose then fell; gradually improved; there overall distribution pattern high in low east west. On trend transformation, 62.2% remained unchanged, 21% shifted 16.8% increased level. index decreased rose, agglomeration floating a “V” shape, essentially same hot- cold-spot areas. Among six functional protection zones, soil preservation function exhibited lowest (EVI) at 0.371. From water source conservation demonstrated significant decline EVI, while remaining zones showed gradual upward EVI. human disturbance main driver affecting change pressure layer key influence criterion layer. This can provide reasonable evaluation model analytical framework for scientific objective vulnerability.
