Temperature is the key variable in study of climate changes past and future. Most previous studies on temperature reconstructions, however, have focused mean annual (MAT). Here, focusing seasonal reconstructions Northern Hemisphere extratropics during Holocene period, we show that change cycle severely underestimated comparison with expectation from present observations. Our highlights current uncertainty Holocene, an implication MAT simulation models may not be much biased.
