Comparison and Assessment of Anti‐Inflammatory and Antioxidant Capacity Between EGCG and Phosphatidylcholine‐Encapsulated EGCG

ABSTRACT
Aim
To
compare
and
evaluate
the
differences
between
EGCG
phosphatidylcholine‐encapsulated
in
terms
of
their
anti‐inflammatory
antioxidant
capacities.
Methods
In
this
study,
transdermal
absorption
experiments
were
conducted
to
capacity
EGCG.
Subsequently,
disparity
efficacy
evaluated
through
cytotoxicity
experiments,
as
well
determination
cellular
inflammatory
factors
measurement
ROS
content
under
different
treatment
conditions.
Results
The
concentration
EGCG,
encapsulated
phosphatidylcholine,
porcine
skin
is
40.76
±
1.29
μg/cm
2
,

significantly
higher
than

).
Also,
ability
suppress
such
tumor
necrosis
factor‐α
(TNF‐α),
cyclooxygenase‐2
(COX‐2),
prostaglandin

(PGE2)
was

superior
that
alone.
Both
showed
excellent
scavenging
capacity.
Conclusion
percutaneous
impact
within
phosphatidylcholine
substantially
enhanced
when
compared
by
itself.
Additionally,
both
formulations
exhibited
capacities,
albeit
variance
them
not
pronounced.
These
insights
furnish
a
vital
theoretical
underpinning
for
utilization
cosmetic
applications,
specifically
fostering
products
with
benefits.

Hundreds
of
green
tea
products
are
available
on
the
market
and
exhibit
different
characteristics.
In
present
study,
seven
types
were
processed,
their
nonvolatile
profiles
analyzed
by
liquid
chromatography-mass
spectrometry.
Non-spreading
contained
higher
concentrations
catechins
flavonoid
glycosides,
but
lower
amino
acids,
caffeine,
theaflavins.
Non-rolling
teas
with
a
straight
appearance
glycosides
contrast,
leaf-rolling
much
catechins.
These
qualities
all
decreased
following
prolonged
storage,
concurrent
increasing
proanthocyanidins,
dimers,
theaflavins,
organic
acids.
The
exhibited
reduced
levels
deterioration
during
storage
in
terms
profile
sensory
quality.
Findings
show
that
moderate
destruction
leaves
processing
is
beneficial
to
both
flavor
quality
maintenance
storage.
