The choice of training system impacts the architecture and physiological characteristics grapevines, affecting grape production quality. Continuous studies are necessary to optimize viticulture in Brazil. This study aimed evaluate effects rootstocks different systems on quality ‘IAC 138-22 Máximo’ ‘BRS Violeta’ grapevines for juice wine. experiment was conducted over two productive cycles (2019/2020 2020/2021) an experimental vineyard at Advanced Center Fruit Research as part Agronomic Institute (IAC), Jundiaí, São Paulo, Brazil (23°06′ S, 46°55′ W, 745 m altitude). For each cultivar, a randomized block design 2 × factorial scheme used, with (‘IAC 766 Campinas’ 106-8 ‘Mgt’) (low high trellises), five blocks three plants per plot. In both cycles, gas exchange grapevine production, chemical (must), compounds berry skins were evaluated. influenced variables evaluated cultivars, trellis providing best results. approach increased photosynthetic rate, improved water-use efficiency, elevated enhanced fruit Therefore, its use is recommended grapevines. Regarding rootstocks, scion–rootstock affinity found between hybrid Campinas’.

In a world grappling with the severe effects induced by climate change, one of most significant concerns affecting agriculture is gradual decline in water quality for irrigation associated reduced rainfalls and consequent increase soil salinity. This issue particularly crucial grapevine cultivation (Vitis vinifera L.) winemaking industry. The aroma resulting wines yield parameters can be influenced both directly indirectly due to exerted salinity on microbiota, which impacts plant health. To gain insights into this topic, our study aimed analyse changes microbiota rhizosphere carposphere salt stress using metabarcoding approach, focusing Vitis cv. Glera. control plants were irrigated rainwater, while treated containing (NaCl). Our findings revealed differences (both fungi bacteria) between two treatments. For instance, Shannon diversity index (i.e., alpha diversity) was lower compared not-treated ones, whilst beta did not show any differences. Several microbial phyla exhibited better resilience abiotic (e.g., Ascomycota, Saccharomycetes, Acidobacteria, Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes), shedding light their impact bacterial fungal groups essential subsequent stages. Additionally, negatively affected parameters. contributes valuable viticultural community, providing deeper understanding complex interplay characteristics, communities, influence productivity.
