RESUMO
Este
estudo
teve
por
objetivo
avaliar
a
eficiência
no
tratamento
do
esgoto
doméstico
de
uma
cidade
interior
paulista,
pela
análise
micronúcleos
e
anormalidades
nucleares
nos
eritrócitos
tilápias
expostas
ao
efluente
bruto
tratado.
Duas
coletas
foram
realizadas:
na
estação
chuvosa
outra
seca.
Foram
utilizados
três
aquários
20
L
experimentos,
com
cinco
peixes
cada.
No
primeiro,
os
animais
expostos
à
água
poço
artesiano
(controle
negativo);
segundo,
diluído;
terceiro,
após
tratamento.
Decorrido
o
tempo
exposição
(72
h),
coletou-se
sangue
desses
para
obtenção
lâminas
esfregaço.
Os
resultados
obtidos
mostraram
efeitos
genotóxicos
mutagênicos
bruto,
em
ambas
as
coletas;
porém,
esses
não
significativos
esgoto,
que
mostra
processo
utilizado
foi
eficiente
minimizar
tais
efeitos.
