Abstract Increasing human activity, including commercial and noncommercial use of pharmaceuticals, personal care products, agricultural has introduced new contaminants that can be challenging to remove with currently available technologies. Pharmaceuticals, in particular, especially from the water supply pose great harm people local ecosystems.
