To understand the water quality changes of Yilong Lake and reveal driving factors in different periods, this study, based on 13 parameters, from 2008 to 2018 was comprehensively evaluated by health comprehensive assessment method (ETI) index (WQI), 6 key parameters were determined WQI develop a more convenient WQImin evaluation model. The results showed that: (1) Lake's single-factor result inferior category V, CODCr TN had greater impact results; while ETI methods show is at moderate level (53.58 ± 7.46 0.53 0.13). Among them, nutrients such as nitrogen phosphorus have greatest values. (2) reveals that can be divided into two stages. lakes declined 2013, main are increase industrial sewage discharge pollution load caused tourism development; 2014 2018, lake an improving trend, spatial change shows west slightly better than middle east, which mainly due lake's self-purification ability, implementation various treatment measures, supplement project location pollutant discharge; (3) Based method, six DO, CODMn, EC, TN, Hg, Chla model developed. considering weight accurate, characteristics understood simply quickly.

Abstract Harmful algal blooms (HABs) are a growing concern to public health and aquatic ecosystems. Long-term water monitoring conducted by hand poses several limitations the proper implementation of safety plans. This work combines automatic high-frequency (AFHM) systems with machine learning (ML) techniques build data-driven chlorophyll- (Chl- ) soft-sensor. Massive data for temperature, pH, electrical conductivity (EC) system battery were taken three years at intervals 15 min from two different areas As Conchas freshwater reservoir (NW Spain). We designed set soft-sensors based on compact energy efficient ML algorithms infer Chl- fluorescence using low-cost input variables be deployed buoys limited hardware resources. Input output aggregations applied in models increase their inference performance. A component capable triggering 10 $$\upmu$$ μ g/L alert was also developed. The results showed that could rapid inexpensive tool support manual sampling bodies risk.

This review aims to summarise the current state of art technologies for phosphorus recovery from waste and wastewater. Information corroborated here shows a clear relationship between PO4-P content in liquid phase cost recovery. In fact, all commercial scale operations this involve phosphorus-rich stream. most cases, is achieved via two key steps: solubilising into water then phosphate chemical precipitation/crystallisation. Recent development has also included enrichment pre-treatment rich Phosphorus contaminant aquatic environment. Thus, work reviews post-treatment stream after environmental discharge or reuse. places spotlight on requirement further research especially at pilot- full-scale level. The demonstrates need complement process precipitation.
