The riparian zone is an important location of nitrogen removal in the terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. High dissolved organic nitrate ratio (DOC:NO3-) would promote denitrification, but when NO3- content than 0.06 mg/kg, DNRA occur preference denitrification. Furthermore, abundances functional genes (norB, nirS, nrfA) anammox bacterial 16S rRNA gene similar distribution patterns corresponding rates. Sedimentary NOX-, Fe(II), carbon (DOC) microbial abundance main factors affecting zone. Fe (II) promoted through dependent ferrous under mediation, DOC promotes enhancing effect. study can be management prevention control global pollution.
