Identifying primary estrogen receptor (ER) agonists in municipal sewage is essential for ensuring the health of aquatic environments. Given complex and variable chemical composition sewage, predominant ER remain unclear. High-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS)-based models have been developed to predict compound bioactivity matrices, but further optimization needed effectively bridge HRMS features with agonists. To address this challenge, an FT-GNN (fragmentation tree-based graph neural network) model was proposed. limited data class imbalance, augmentation performed using predictions within applicability domain (AD) oversampling technique (OTE). Model development results demonstrated that integrating improved balanced accuracy (bACC) value by 6%-31%. The model, a high bACC identify more true agonists, efficiently classified tens thousands unidentified reducing postprocessing workload nontargeted screening. Analysis agonist transformation during treatment revealed anaerobic stage as key both their removal formation. Multi-criteria decision analysis in assessing watershed scale pollution risk: a review of combined approaches and applications DOI

Decision-making tools have become a prominent methodology in watershed management for many years due to the complexity of environmental systems and requirement multi-disciplinary expertise. Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) is systematic methodology, which combines hierarchical structures problem priorities alternatives fields. This study reviews MCDA applications pollution risk assessment abiotic environments watersheds multi-pollutants. Over 80 papers published between 2000 2021 are identified three categories Web Science Core Collection database: “Environmental Sciences”, Studies”, “Water Resources”. The publications further classified according different compartments: surface water, groundwater, soil investigate these matrices. Finally, distribution contaminants methods used also examined. results reveal that number studies focusing on within has been significantly increasing, especially over last decade. However, there still limited linking compartments. Despite several vulnerability multiple pollutants, related with emerging pollutants scarce. Moreover, compared non-point source pollution, adopting pollutant concentrations coming from point sources relatively few. According overall distributions methods, Analytic Hierarchy Process, commonly found method literature adopts technique pairwise comparison prioritize criteria prominence, dominates 34% publications.

For example, these applications encompass assessing efficacy adsorbents pollutants effluents wastewater, determining optimal WWT range alternatives, evaluating performance both metallic (such ZnO MnO) non-metallic (like activated carbon) nanomaterial adsorbents, scrutinizing strategies minimize consumption. Furthermore, within context specific technologies, identifies highlights critical criteria that are deemed instrumental enhancing efficiency pollutants. Businesses must constantly change and develop to keep up with customer needs changes in the market. Not being able adapt or not ready enough can bring risks. These risks affect both process outputs of process. It is essential be prepared for possible experienced operations, especially project-based, production-to-order enterprises, meet customer's demands comply delivery date. implement an effective risk assessment achieve this. This study implemented a prioritization new business project that produces energy storage systems by having order. Changes made production additional feature added product line request. The posed short deadline were analyzed prioritized. A model was developed developing classical Decision Matrix Risk Assessment (DMRA) method, one methods evaluate ten identified "severity" component DMRA method divided into three sub-components (the severity time, cost, quality) evaluated more specifically. Moreover, since weights these on are different, components weighted Fuzzy SWARA method. obtained from used MOORA Thus, effectiveness approach has increased detailing weighting prioritizing using multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques.
