The physicochemical properties and heavy metals adsorption capacities of biochars derived from cattle manure (CM) cherry wood (CW) were systematically investigated compared. results showed that the yields, pH ash content (CMB) higher due to high levels mineral constituents in CM. CMB6 CWB6 aromaticity polarity, whereas CMB4 CWB4 carried oxygen-containing functional groups. exhibited maximum for Pb2+ (40.8 mg·g−1), Cd2+ (24.2 Ni2+ (25.1 with relatively . isotherms fitted Langmuir model, indicating metal adsorptionoccurred via a combination physical chemical mechanisms. quantitative analysis interaction minerals was dominant mechanism, especially accounting about 70% CMB6. This study provides important information comprehensive recycling utilization biomass sustainable development.
