This study aimed to evaluate the occurrence of mycotoxigenic fungi in fish farm water and mycotoxins feeds for farmed tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum). A total 40 samples freshwater from farms 16 feed were collected analyzed microbiology. five species free-living identified farms: Aspergillus fumigatus, Penicillium citrinum, P. implicatum, Fusarium oxysporum Alternaria alternata. These counted at 35.14 CFU mL-1 24.69 dry seasons. In all farms, there was a higher abundance rainy season. During visits farmers, it possible verify poor storage conditions. Concerning mutations blood cells, (C. macropomum), 159 anomalies found, Leptodactylus petersii, 299 with incidences conditions above 1.0 log10(x+1) The mycotoxicological contamination confirmed 81.25% samples. quantified mycotoxin Fumonisins B1 + B2 (375 1418 μg kg-1). Pearson's correlation analysis showed significant positive between (r = 0.83). There also quantification 0.79). Based on results obtained, can be concluded that used as bioindicators quality farms. Consequently, lack good management practices caused microbiological aquatic environment.

Anticancer agents pose a great environmental risk due to their high toxicity. The aim of the current study is assess toxicity trabectedin, cytotoxic but atypical DNA binder, liver cell line (ZFL) and embryo-larvae zebrafish Danio rerio employing an innovative approach. In ZFL cells, trabectedin cytotoxicity was measured using MTT Trypan blue exclusion assay, morphology evaluated by fluorescence-activated sorting (FACS) immunofluorescence analysis. Trabectedin 60-fold more toxic cells than in terms mortality/cell viability, with mortality being observed 42.7 µg.L−1 for non-viability 0.04 cultured cells. Immunofluorescence staining showed alterations ZFL-cells exposed dose-dependent manner, from 0.15 µg.L−1. Furthermore, induced morphological abnormalities embryo-larvae, such as tail malformations, pericardial edema lack equilibrium at concentrations lower 50.3 Regarding larvae behavior analysis, increased velocity total distance covered under dark conditions. These results reveal be both vitro vivo models, thus occurrence persistence this anticancer agent environment may represent potential factor biota.

Graphene quantum dots (GQDs) are used in diverse fields from chemistry-related materials to biomedicines, thus causing their substantial release into the environment. Appropriate visual function is crucial for facilitating decision-making process within nervous system. Given direct interaction of eyes with environment and even nanoparticles, herein, GQDs, sulfonic acid-doped GQDs (S-GQDs), amino-functionalized (A-GQDs) were employed understand potential optic neurotoxicity disruption mechanism by GQDs. The negatively charged S-GQDs disturbed response light stimulation impaired structure retinal nuclear layer zebrafish larvae, vision disorder degeneration. Albeit sublethal concentrations, a considerably reduced expression vascular sprouting factor
