The constant usage of trace elements in the environment can elucidate harmful health effects on sensitive species i.e. Birds residing higher trophic levels. current study is to investigate and compare toxic elements. accumulation patterns. Cd, Cr, Pb, Cu, As, Hg Remiges (Primaries, Secondaries, Tertiaries), Contours (body), Rectrices (tail) feathers Bubulcus ibis (Cattle Egret) sampled from Lahore, Pakistan. Cr were detected with variable concentration levels; As not study. general trend Pb>Cd>Cu>Cr among Remiges, Contours, ibis. Primaries Flight showed highest concentrations followed by minimum (min-max) at 0.49(0.48-0.55), 0.23(0.07-0.43), 0.13(0.12- 0.14), 0.07(0.03-0.21), observed Contour, Tertiaries, respectively. values found non-significant (all P>0.05) different feather types Cattle Egrets, reflecting their similar distribution. Principle Component Analysis (PCA) based co-relation matrices also depicted homogenous distribution types. Compared previous studies or near site, depicts a relatively lower level metals, which are unanimously distributed cattle egret. However, environmental presence has significant consequences for Pakistan's already diminishing avifauna.
