Environmental education often advocates for individual pro-environmental behavior—which, while beneficial to a degree, fails match the large scale of today's capitalism-fueled socio-ecological challenges. Rather, collective action holds promise as means large-scale changes required in Capitalocene. These actions can take shape encouraging group uptake behaviors (collective non-activist behaviors) or through fostering system change activist behaviors). This study works understand how well environmental literacy framework combined with theory planned behavior predicts behaviors, using North Carolina high school students population. We find that, these models effectively predict student engagement (adjusted R2 = 0.39), they are less accurate at predicting 0.17) and 0.10). Thus, more research theory-building needed what drives among youth beyond.

Abstract Predicting academic procrastination among college students in the context of a public crisis could provide essential support and decision-making strategies for higher education institutions to promote student psychological health. Notably, research focusing on predicting behavior global is still limited. The purpose this study address gap by constructing predictive model based decision tree algorithm predict students. A total 776 from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region China participated study. gathered data multiple aspects relevant behavior, including demographic information, achievements, subjective well-being, smartphone addiction, negative emotions, self-esteem, life autonomy, pro-environmental achievement, sense school belonging. Descriptive statistical analysis was conducted utilizing SPSS version 26.0, performed with Modeler 18.0. findings identified eight factors students’ order importance: performance, accuracy 85.78%, indicating relatively high level prediction. not only provided new perspective understanding but also offered practical guidance educators how mitigate behavior.

This study explores the residents' behavioral determinants of ecological conservation in rural tourism development, focusing on resident participation to promote sustainable development industry. By integrating Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) and Norm Activation Model (NAM), it examines roles subjective norm, responsibility attribution, environmental risk perception, human capital shaping behavior. Based data from 331 valid responses collected through a questionnaire survey, structural equation model (SEM) was performed using SPSS AMOS analyze The findings reveal that norm attribution significantly enhance protection intention, which subsequently boosts relationship between behavior is mediated by while perception positively moderates norm-behavior relationship. Additionally, intention-behavior Significant differences were found based gender age, with men women, as well different age groups, responding uniquely intention perception. Abstract This study investigates the impact of COVID‐19 containment measures on household carbon footprints, with a focus gender dynamics and redistributive effects. Using data from Belgian Household Budget Survey for 2018 2020, we find that households male breadwinners experienced more substantial decrease in footprints. reduction is primarily due to significant decline consumption carbon‐intensive goods services, such as transportation dining out, which these use extensively. Our findings emphasize importance incorporating considerations assessment policies. By understanding link between behaviors, policymakers can design equitable effective interventions mitigate emissions. It also presents opportunities targeted policies incentives, particularly transportation, ensuring decarbonization efforts address distributive nature

This research explores the interaction between perceptions of environmental degradation during pandemic and their subsequent effect on eco-conscious purchasing activities. study constructs a theoretical framework by combining insights from established behavioural consumption value perspectives. We analyse responses 390 participants utilize structural equation modelling to validate our model. The main findings indicate that believed conditions deteriorated pandemic, perception mediated link intentions for green actual actions. also examines model results individual differences in age gender. Furthermore, except functional price, most values resulted statistically significant attitudes towards purchasing. These are pivotal, providing relevant implications fields marketing, sustainability, policymaking, elucidating novel determinants consumer's eco-friendly behaviours post-pandemic scenario. COVID-19 has altered human cognition and changed the cultural values of society. However, there not been much debate among scholars about whether these above changes have led to an increase in pro-environmental behavior (PEB) Chinese consumers.A comprehensive model was developed based on affective event theory. An online questionnaire distributed, 501 usable questionnaires were collected. In addition, two complementary approaches employed: partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) necessary condition analysis (NCA).The PLS-SEM results showed that risk perception, nostalgia, awe nature, attitude found a positive effect PEB; moderating power distance belief (PD) between nostalgia (NO), (AT) PEB confirmed. According NCA results, AT NO are conditions for consumers. This study provides deeper insight into understanding consumers' context through combined use NCA.
