Influenza is a respiratory disease that may cause severe consequences to human health. caused between 99,000 and 200,000 deaths worldwide in 2019. Studies have reported the presence of this virus Santander, Colombia, region with high humanitarian flow. An influenza vaccine production plant topology has been proposed previously. Nevertheless, inherent safety sustainably behavior unknown. Process plays crucial role evaluation emerging technologies since it allows identification potential risks. Moreover, current sustainability policies enforce assessment processes considering economic, social, environmental aspects. For reason, performed work. The index (ISI) methodology was implemented analyze process. using weighted return on investment metric (SWROIM), which (ROI), output impact (PEI output), total (ITI), exergy efficiency were considered. results showed inherently safe 11. destroyed 378.69 MJ/h, 86%, SWROIM estimated at 81%, means slightly negative impacts sustainability.

In response to the pandemic of COVID-19, various unexpected environmental impacts in many countries have been rising. Millions gloves and masks are used thrown away daily around globe. Incorrect disposal COVID-19 waste without disinfection preparation could expose people healthcare personnel possibility spreading infection coronaviruses. This article finds an appropriate way disinfect coronavirus-infected items by involving physical factors, chemical biological or physiological factors. Policymakers must immediately adopt technology achieve green recovery covid-19 that encourages development sustains climate change. Regarding previously published papers research results, this intends investigate plastic pollution status before during outline safely disinfecting waste.

Plastic waste causes severe environmental impacts worldwide and threatens the lives of all creatures. In medical field, most equipment, especially personal protective equipment (PPE), is made from single-use plastic. During COVID-19, usage PPE has increased, disposed in landfills after being used once. Worldwide, millions tons syringes are generated COVID-19 vaccination. A practical alternative to utilizing this recycling it reinforce building materials. This research introduces an approach using syringe plastic material as composite concrete. Reinforced fiber polymer (FRP) concrete materials were mold cylindrical specimens, which underwent mechanical tests for properties. study four compositions with 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% FRP create samples optimum results. Sequential carried out on created samples. These specimens cured a long period obtain water absorption capability. After several investigations, highest tensile compressive strengths, approximately 2.0 MPa 10.5 MPa, found 5% composition From curing test, lowest absorbability around was

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 few years ago, increasing number medical waste has become a huge issue because their harmful impact to environment. A major concern associated limitation technologies for dealing with waste, especially conventional technologies, are overcapacities since pandemic occurs. Moreover, new viruses from post should serious attention be prevented not only environmental issues but also spreading near future. The high possibility an and mutation future based on experience SARS-CoV-2 virus in last 3 yr. This review presented information strategies handling during post-COVID-19, current related such as incineration, pyrolysis/gasification, autoclaves microwave treatment numbers prevent transmission virus, advantages disadvantages. Plasma technology can considered implemented alternative deal incinerator is usually over capacities situation. Proper specific pandemics, namely face masks, vaccine vials, syringes, dead bodies, necessary those wastes mediums virus. Furthermore, emission controls plasma reduce concentration CO

The COVID-19 pandemic crisis marks a rare example of supply disruption that had devastating effect on the global economy. vaccine has then been considered to be an effective long-term solution. particularity chain is procurement made by government agencies directly from manufacturers, thus bypassing typical distributors and wholesalers. first purpose this paper further understand public strategies (PPSs) for in situation, using methodology brings together Kraljic’s purchasing portfolio model, Porter’s five forces analysis multi-attribute decision making method. second aim evaluate sustainability PPS, sustainable development analytical grid (SDAG), tool addresses six dimensions: ecological, social, economic, ethical, cultural governance. To assess effectiveness methodology, we consider Morocco, emergent country, as case study. It results Morocco’s approach line with theoretical strategy: diversification bringing production house. assessment shows PPS covers dimensions, but considering urge economic social recovery, some objectives are prioritized.
