The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on individual human behaviour, making it prominent research topic in recent years. However, most studies have focused mobility, with limited attention given to changes residents' activities patterns. Furthermore, these patterns at finer spatiotemporal scale remain understudied. To fill this gap, we analysed and compared across different streets time slots from three perspectives – activity intensity (HAI), population distribution, daily using high-spatiotemporal-resolution Baidu heat map data. First, tracked variations HAI for each street the lockdown period post-pandemic era. On basis, calculated distribution inferred Our results revealed that trends were similar all streets, but relative varied slots. Moreover, pattern of changed, shift central area surrounding regions. Additionally, transitioned leisure work residential activities, more pronounced forenoon afternoon These findings provide scientific evidence guiding targeted urban management.

The COVID-19 pandemic altered the local economic geographies of many U.S. cities, and it remains unclear how long these changes will persist. This study analyzed sociospatial dynamics business closures in Miami-Dade County, Florida, from August 2020 to 2021 with an explicit focus on reconciling pandemic's effects context location theory. We found that traditional urban centers transit-concentrated areas experienced disproportionately higher rates during period, suggesting a potential wave commercial suburbanization Miami. Middle-class working-class Hispanic neighborhoods suffered most closures. results correlation analysis spatial regression models suggested positive association between incidence cases at both zip code individual levels. These also beckon revaluation role certain externalities importance automobile accessibility agglomeration are poised persist beyond pandemic, but benefits proximity public transport system might decline. trends observed Miami suggest could generate more automobile-reliant employment subcenters cities amplify problems intraurban inequality sprawl.

While urban green spaces (UGSs) are important places for residents’ leisure activities, studies describing the long-term daily UGS usage of residents (including total number types and touring experience) have not been conducted due to difficulties in data collection. Based on social media text (SMTD), this study, intensities optional experience 100 UGSs Xiamen, China, were inferred based ERNIE 3.0 pre-training semantic classification model. this, linear regression modeling was applied analyze internal environmental factors effects external form regarding usage. The research results revealed following. (1) A descriptive study numbers, types, activities using SMTD, verified by line transect surveys, management statistics, a publicly available dataset. (2) human found be significantly influenced historical cultural facilities, nighttime lighting, population density, proportion floating population. (3) During daytime, park type facilities density. In evening, type, population, (4) Regarding experience, space ratio, had significant experience. security methodology findings aid understanding differences daytime discovery planning tools promote UGSs.
