ABSTRACT
This
study
compared
an
anaerobic
baffled
reactor
(ABR)
with
a
multi-staged
UASB
(MS-UASB)
to
investigate
the
effects
of
loading
shocks
on
digestion
in
both
reactors.
Both
reactors
were
subjected
five
hydraulic/organic
shocks,
each
lasting
3
days.

hydraulic
