Most of the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and especially chlorinated (Cl-VOCs), are regarded as major pollutants due to their properties volatility, diffusivity toxicity which pose a significant threat human health eco-environment. Catalytic degradation VOCs Cl-VOCs harmless products is promising approach mitigate issues caused by Cl-VOCs. Non-thermal plasma (NTP) assisted catalysis technology for efficient with higher selectivity under relatively mild conditions compared conventional thermal catalysis. This review summarises state-of-the-art research in (IPC) from three aspects including: (i) design catalysts, (ii) strategies deep catalytic by-products inhibition, (iii) fundamental into mechanisms NTP activated degradation. Particular attention also given characteristic stability toxicity. The catalysts used Cl-VOCs, formation mechanism systematically reviewed each chapter. Finally, perspective on future challenges opportunities development were discussed.
