Chicken manure and composts derived from it are valuable organic fertilizers that have a positive impact on soil fertility significantly enhance crop yields. However, the application of fresh can lead to excessive concentrations nitrogen other nutrients in soil, as well contamination with microorganisms pathogenic humans animals. Therefore, is recommended compost chicken prior its use agriculture. This review examines composition properties manure, techniques involved composting, influence physical, chemical, biological soil. The utilization composted results increased levels carbon (on average by 1–1.5%), (by 0.1–0.2%), biophilic elements. Moreover, improves various physical such porosity, aeration, density. Levels pH increase 0.2–0.4), electrical conductivity 2–2.5 times), quantity water-resistant aggregates 5–10%). these also promotes activity, microbial diversity, biomass 25–75%), enzymatic activity (phosphatase catalase 5–7 times, urease 3–5 times). When incorporated into significant (2–4 times) population bacteria phyla Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Actinobacteria observed. necessity investigating effects chemical storage matter, pore space, ecotrophic structure microbiome discussed.

Agricultural practices significantly impact soil properties and ecological functions, highlighting the importance of comprehensive health assessments. Traditionally, these assessments have focused on physical chemical indicators, often neglecting microbiological properties. This review explores potential indicators in evaluating effects agricultural emphasizing their significance addressing challenges associated with application. A key advantage is high sensitivity rapid response to environmental changes. These can be grouped into three categories: microbial biomass abundance, taxonomic composition diversity, activity. Among these, carbon, basal respiration, decomposition rates are considered most reliable interpretable indicators. Microbial diversity remain limited diagnostic predictive capabilities due interpretation. Integrating offers a more holistic understanding interactions between health, enhancing our ability monitor, manage, preserve ecosystems. To facilitate adoption production land management, further efforts needed improve interpretability establish standardized criteria for assessment.

Phosphorus (P) availability in soil is often limited, posing a challenge for sustainable agricultural production. Phosphate solubilizing microorganisms (PSMs) have emerged as promising biological approach to enhance P while minimize negative environmental impacts. Exploring the impact of PSMs on increasing available crucial optimizing utilization insoluble and promoting practices. In this article, we provide comprehensive review dynamics P, including its input, loss transformation processes. Additionally, draw conclusion about how increase soil, inorganic (Pi) organic (Po) by secreting substances such protons, acids, exopolysaccharides, hydrogen sulfide, siderophores phosphatases. Notably, factors influencing activity are thoroughly discussed. Moreover, practical applications summarized. Future research should focus exploring novel PSM isolates, conducting long-term field experiments assess effects potential risk under diverse conditions, investigating synergistic approaches with other activators or beneficial microorganisms. This will advance our understanding their application, enabling widespread adoption systems.
