The Spain’s colonization by the Asiatic wasp (Vespa velutina nigrithorax) leads to serious ecologic and socioeconomic consequences. Furthermore, this invasive has recently expanded Andalusia. In present study, a species distribution model been performed in order analyze geographic expansion of Iberian Peninsula, making focus on Andalusian community. Our initial hypothesis sustains that varied topography, alongside with proximity Atlantic Ocean Mediterranean Sea, will enable existence microclimatic niches adequate for wasp. modelling, line previous modellings, confirms temperature precipitation are two most decisive environmental factors success establishment However, our modelling is less effective its prediction respect territory. The sublethal effects of pesticide poisoning will have significant negative impacts on the foraging and learning bees bumblebees, so it has received widespread attention. However, little is known about physiological spinetoram glyphosate exposure bumblebees. We continuously exposed Bombus terrestris to (2.5 mg/L) or under controlled conditions for 10 days. superoxide dismutase, glutathione-S-transferase, carboxylesterase, prophenoloxidase, α-amylase protease activities, changes in gut microbes were measured understand physiology Sublethal significantly increased dismutase activity decreased bumblebees but had no effect carboxylesterase activities. In addition, prophenoloxidase. Interestingly, we observed that neither two pesticides a dominant bacteria, altered structure fungal community, reduced relative abundance Zygosaccharomyces associated with fat accumulation. These results suggest do not affect detoxification system may bumblebee health by inhibiting energy acquisition. Our provide information low concentrations terms microbes.

Honeybee is an essential pollinator to crops, evaluation the risk assessment of honeybee larvae exposure pesticides residue in bee bread and honey important strategy protect colony due mixture these two matrices main food for 3-day-old larvae. In this study, a continuous survey five pyrethroid insecticides between 2018 2020 from 17 major cultivation provinces which can be determined as Northeast, Northwest, Eastern, Central, Southwest, Southern China, there was at least one type II insecticide detected 54.7 % samples 43.4 honey. Then, we assayed acute toxicity based on detection results, LD50 value 0.2201 μg/larva (beta-cyhalothrin), 0.4507 (bifenthrin), 2.0840 (fenvalerate), 0.0530 (deltamethrin), 0.1640 (beta-cypermethrin), respectively. Finally, hazard quotient calculated larval oral ranged 0.046 × 10-3 2.128 10-3. Together, empirical findings provide further insight into accurate contamination colonies caused by chemical pesticides, used valuable guidance beekeeping industry pesticide regulation.

Amitraz and tau-fluvalinate are veterinary treatments administered for the control of Varroa destructor in honey bee colonies. These can generate harmful residues bees. This field study addresses issue under two scenarios: 1) administration according to posology 2) placing contaminated wax containing treatments. Tau-fluvalinate (Apistan®) were detected larval stages from 25.34 84.72 ng g−1 scenario 1 29.63 173.97 2. In addition, it was bread 2 55.72 573.79 g−1. 1, DMPF + DMF (amitraz metabolites) found 37.09 171.58 (Amicel®) 36.74 42.64 (Apivar®) bread. honey, ranged 19.96 145.30 32.20 78.43 (Apivar®). With these treatments, a significant reduction population mites (mean ± s.d.) observed between 95.15 2.56% 98.29 1.97%. There positive correlations Amicel®, adult bees brood during evaluation showing higher effectiveness. According both RQ (Risk Quotient) SRA (Standard Risk Approach) values larvae, there is no risk when considering exposure by contact or ingestion honey. 2, most stages, except hives treated with tau-fluvalinate, where 1.73 1.29%, indicating moderate due acute oral exposure.
