The increasing number of deaths caused by mosquito-borne diseases highlights the need to produce efficient and environmentally sustainable alternatives. aim present investigation we have utilized leaf from Laureliopsis philippiana (LP) synthesize silver (Ag) palladium (Pd) nanoparticles (NPs) studied toxicity on deadly disease vectors larvae Aedes aegypti Anopheles stephensi. Biosynthesized Ag Pd NPs were investigated UV-Vis spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Zeta potential analysis. GC-MS analysis L. assisted in identifying secondary metabolites extract's total flavonoid phenolic compounds, which are reactants bio-reduction process during production nanoparticles. in-silico was conducted mosquito sterol carrier protein-2 (1PZ4) odorant binding protein (2L2C). XRD results revealed crystalline structure NPs. At same time, TEM representation, biosynthesized spherical, clustered, exhibited a noticeable UV peak at 417 370 nm (average size AgNPs: 13.25± 2.53 PdNPs: 4.07± 1.64 nm). biogenic concentration-dependent larvicidal effect with LC50 values 29.596, 17.804, 23.915, 14.878 µg/mL Ae. 23.946, 13.938, 19.457, 12.876 against An. stephensi, correspondingly. In-silico studies proved that Laureliopsine A (-7.6 -8.4 kcal/mol) isoterpinolene (-7.0 -6.7 showed significant docking scores comparison permethrin (-5.3 -8.0 kcal/mol), proteins (1PZ4 2L2C). Besides, LP-Ag non-toxicity carried out Zebrafish embryos 72h post-fertilization. Overall, findings clearly demonstrated green synthesized develop secure safe larvicides.

This study aimed to synthesize silver nanoparticles (VJ@AgNPs) using Valeriana jatamansi root extract and assess their antibacterial, antioxidant, antibiofilm properties against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus mutans. Various chemical physical characterization methods were employed analyze the synthesized VJ@AgNPs. UV-Visible spectroscopy confirmed presence of VJ@AgNPs with a peak absorption at 426 nm, while FT-IR results indicated involvement phyto-compounds from V. in reduction stabilization these nanoparticles. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy revealed well-dispersed spherical nature an average size 29.1 ± 2.06 X-ray diffraction crystalline structure. The biosynthesized exhibited significant antibacterial activity all tested pathogens, substantial inhibition zones 50 100 μg/mL concentrations. Additionally, displayed potent antioxidant capacity scavenging assays. Furthermore, showed promise photocatalytic degradation, effectively removing 95% RhB dye within 75 minutes under solar light irradiation, following pseudo-first-order kinetics. suggests potential application wastewater treatment for organic removal. biocompatible environmentally friendly underscores as therapeutic agents bacterial infections oxidative stress-related diseases.

Bio-insecticidal research has focused on long-term vector control using essential oils (EOs). This study examined the larvicidal, oviposition-deterrent, and repellent properties of five medicinal herb-based EO formulations (EOFs) mosquitoes that are vectors dengue, filariasis, malaria. EOFs were significantly more toxic to larvae pupae Culex quinquefasciatus, Anopheles stephensi, Aedes aegypti with LC50 = 9.23, 12.85, 14.46 ppm, as well 10.22, 11.39, 12.81 oviposition active indexes -0.84, -0.95, -0.92, respectively. Oviposition-deterrent repellence was found in 91.39%, 94.83%, 96.09%. EOs N, N-Diethyl-3-methylbenzamide (DEET) prepared at various concentrations for time duration bioassays (6.25-100 ppm). Ae. aegypti, An. Cx. quinquefasciatus monitored 300, 270, 180 min, At 100 DEET had comparable terms test durations.
