The fish species caught in the inland fishery of Basrah were recorded from seven landing sites between January and December 2022. A total 14 types four families identified this fishery. most commonly exotic such as Cyprinus carpio tilapia species. In contrast, landings significant native freshwater that are characteristic Mesopotamian aquatic environments, Carasobarbus luteus, Mesopotamichthys sharpeyi, Luciobarbus xanthopterus, Arabibarbus grypus, dropped considerably. has been steadily increasing since 2009, indicating a positive trend overall landing. This growth may be attributed to expansion fishing activities prevalence due degradation water ecosystem Southern Iraq. From fisheries management viewpoint, it is essential maintain stocks ecosystems southern Iraq involving regional cooperation Iraq, Turkey Iran secure appropriate quantities for upper Tigris Euphrates Rivers, strengthening economically by artificially propagating them then releasing juvenile into natural waters, restrict reproduction carps confining farms, finally minimizing impacts intensifying activities.

A one-dimensional hydraulic HEC-RAS model was developed to forecast the change in salinity tributaries of Co Chien and Hau Rivers Tra Vinh province, Vietnam. The boundary data includes river discharge at Can Tho My Thuan, water levels, coastal monitoring stations. Six stations along River were selected study changes. About 3.1 million people use the water from Progo River for domestic use, agriculture, livestock and even religious rituals which solidifies importance of to residence. Abstract Water pollution is a globally significant issue. environment simulation an important tool to study water pollution. In order investigate the impact of hydrological periods, quality indicators and cross-sections on capacity, we took Luo River in Luoyang City as example, used MIKE21-coupled hydrodynamic model segmentation method calculate capacity COD, TP, NH3-N wet, normal, dry periods under L1 (Gao Yazhai-Lilou), L2 (Li Lou-Baimasi), L3 (Baimasi-G207 Highway Bridge) section. The results showed that from period, environmental was largest wet period due dilution effect caused by higher precipitation; indexes, COD concentration industrial pollution, but degradation coefficients result for COD; cross-section, has longest channel, thus highest L1. This can broaden ideas application MIKE21 model, provide basis calculation dynamic control river.
