In Africa, the growing population and industrial growth have resulted in a notable increase wastewater generation, affecting quality of water region. Wastewater treatment plays crucial role safeguarding environment, public health, aquatic organisms, resources, reducing environmental impact, adhering to regulations. However, current methods for treating Africa fall short these goals, resulting substantially poor health outcomes inadequate provision safe essential sanitation. Poor management several African countries has led severe risks humans, animals, ecosystems. This poses particular threat vulnerable groups like children, women, disabled residing rural remote areas with limited access healthcare. Hence, this article aims shine spotlight on difficulties managing recommend plausible strategies tackle issue. A literature search find most recent relevant research papers from various databases, such as Scopus, Web Science, PubMed, Google Scholar, along resources World Health Organization, was conducted. The selection criteria focused including publications published English facilitate comprehension, analysis, interpretation secondary data. Essentially, addressing challenge requires developing indigenous innovative technologies, transitioning sustainable economy, establishing infrastructures areas, enhancing operation maintenance practices, training facility workers, improving electricity supply, strengthening government participation support, encouraging involvement, setting local benchmarks, international financial technical support. In this study, magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs) were immobilized on sand as a support material via green co-precipitation method. The nanocomposite properties tested using several tests such XRD, FTIR, VSM, BET, BJH, SEM, EDX, and TEM. Then it was employed in batch continuous experiments to remove cadmium (Cd(II)) moxifloxacin (MFX) from aqueous solutions. maximum removal percentages 94% for MFX at pH 9 80% Cd(II) 6. exhibited nanocomposite's capacity impede contaminants' transportation improve hydraulic properties. addition, the travel of contaminants modeled COMSOL software.
