Abstract Elements are the indelible imprint left by Earth on rivers and life entities. Here, we unveil evident inheritance of persistent elements, from Earth's upper continental crust, through Yellow River, to associated entities along a 5,200 km continuum Mother River Chinese nation. In particular, confirm coherence “metal community” composed more than 60 detected metallic elements throughout water, suspended particulate matter, sediment in river, further extend such elemental correlations fish species even tissues human body. Our study also reveals an interesting fact that media‐specific metal abundance occurs inverse order with toxicity, microbial cells river tend establish their own self‐defense systems against toxic metals hosting higher‐level resistance genes. These findings not only stress needs for integrated trace element provision, but highlight fundamental importance river‐coordinated Earth‐life establishing drinking water dietary standards benefit ecological health.
