Abstract One largely neglected focus in the analysis of mission-oriented innovation policies is mission cocreation between stakeholder groups advocating different solution directions. In this paper, we introduce management concept ambidexterity to study how arenas influenced by actors aiming continue existing pathways (exploitative innovation) and alternative (explorative innovation). Our case on Dutch circular agriculture highlights an initial top-down strategy development was dominated exploitative forces, despite ambitions secure broad participation. Government-led efforts still engage exploration-minded actors, restore ambidexterity, were hampered potential contributors feeling excluded from policy process. These findings underline risk that openness missions, required for involvement, might also reinforce pre-existing contestation pathways. Overall, our demonstrate a trade-off maximizing efficiency speed versus obtaining novel perspectives wide societal legitimacy.

Because edible insects (EI) have been, in recent years, recommended as a nutritious animal protein food with enormous environmental advantages over other sources of for human consumption, studies aimed at investigating the consumer perspective become more prominent. Hence, this study intended to examine perceptions participants from different countries about commercialization and economic social impacts insects. The was made using questionnaire survey, data were collected Brazil, Croatia, Greece, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey. final number received answers 7222 participants. For treatment results, statistical techniques used: factor analysis, internal reliability by Cronbach’s alpha, cluster ANOVA test differences between groups, Chi-square tests. results obtained confirmed validity scale, constituted 12 out 14 items initially considered, distributed 4 factors: first related impact EIs, second motivation consumption third places purchase fourth corresponding question presented false statement. A analysis allowed identifying three clusters, significant them according all sociodemographic variables tested. Also, it found that expressed an exceptionally high level agreement aspects such difficulty finding EIs on sale, knowledge acting strong motivator EI role personalities influencers increasing will consume EIs. Finally, practically be significantly associated (country, sex, education, living environment, income), but not age. In conclusion, investigated revealed among samples originating countries. Moreover, characteristics strongly their perceptions.

The availability of feed, especially forages, in terms quality, quantity, and sustainability, plays a crucial role determining the success ruminant livestock farming. Continuous efforts are needed to provide food that meets nutritional needs ensure an adequate supply feed. main constraint meeting demand for forage is limited suitable land its production. Currently, used producing tends be located regions with low soil fertility. This study specifically reveals phenomenon alternative feed from plantation waste, including oil palm, coconut, coffee, cocoa, cashew, sago plants, using carrying capacity formula assess potential waste as analysis utilizes data various supporting documents. findings indicate developing beef cattle Southeast Sulawesi quite promising when utilizing source evident analysis, which shows can year-round variable capacities depending on extent areas.
