Plant communities in urban wetland parks (UWP) have significant eco-healthcare benefits terms of regulating the climate and improving human living environment. However, factors influencing regulation are unclear. Taking Huaxi Ten Mile Beach National Urban Wetland Park as an example, park comprehensive healthcare index (UPCHI) was constructed based on outdoor survey indoor analysis to evaluate UWP’s benefits. Pathway used investigate how climatic, geographic, plant interact affect UPCHI. The results show that, over whole year, tree–shrub–herb showed best performance reducing PM2.5, PM10, noise, well raising negative air ion concentrations; however, comfort performed worst. UPCHI generally beyond level Ⅲ (0.49–0.58) spring summer, indicating that there Overall, deciduous community had highest annual mean UPCHI, more than half communities’ were class Ⅱ, which is very beneficial for eco-healthcare. main direct illumination intensity (0.68) tree height (0.90), while canopy (0.64–0.59) crown radius/canopy (0.72–0.14) directly or indirectly influenced distance from edge mountain (−0.39–−0.322) a negative, but minor, effect This study will assist residents with selecting suitable times places recreation activities, it offers valuable reference future planning design UWP communities.

The Yellow River Delta (YRD), known for its vast and diverse wetland ecosystem, is the largest estuarine delta in China. However, human activities climate change have significantly degraded ecosystem recent decades YRD. Therefore, an understanding of land use modifications essential efficient management preservation ecosystems this region. This study utilized time series remote sensing data extreme gradient boosting method to generate maps YRD from 2000 2020. Several methods, including transition matrix, dynamic degree, standard deviation ellipse, were employed explore characteristics transitions. results underscore significant spatial variations over past two decades. most rapid increase was observed built-up area, followed by terrestrial water tidal flats, while unutilized experienced fastest decrease, forest–grassland. distribution patterns agricultural land, water, forest–grassland demonstrated stronger directionality compared other types. wetlands expanded size improved structure. Unutilized has been converted into artificial comprising ponds, reservoirs, salt shrimp crab natural featuring mudflats conservation efforts after 2008 proven very effective, playing a positive role ecological environmental preservation, as well regional sustainable development.

Land use/land cover (LULC) change has greatly altered ecosystem carbon storage capacity and may eventually profoundly impact global climate change. Characterizing the LULC its on wetland stock provides useful data insights that can guide decision-making procedures aimed at achieving sustainable development objectives. The Yellow River Delta (YRD) represents most intact coastal is considered to be recent in China. It exhibits significant ecological value. Based of YRD 2002, 2007, 2012, 2017, 2022, this paper quantitatively evaluates spatiotemporal changes region analyzes response characteristics results show reductions cropland tidal flat areas from 2002 resulting a decrease 1,428,735.77 t an increase 139,856.58 stock, respectively. built-up land area expanded considerably, was lost by 1,467,915.82 t. Spatially, exhibited pattern “low along coast, high inland; low center, around periphery”. In addition, protecting cropland, reducing building, facilitating conversion reservoirs ponds forest, transforming wetlands into region’s capacity. These findings provide valuable for regional management strategies protection policies, supporting goals Delta.

Introduction Land resources play a vital role in national economic and social development. Hainan Province faces the challenge of balancing land use with conservation while striving to develop high-quality free trade port. This study aims analyze changes their driving factors support sustainable policies. Methods utilised GlobeLand30 dataset, along data on temperature, precipitation, digital elevation model (DEM), slope, soil, gross domestic product (GDP), population, apply Patch-generating Use Simulation (PLUS) model. was used analyse Island from 2000 2020, investigate relationship between change its factors. Results (1) During 2000~2020, forests cultivated were predominant type, wetlands artificial surfaces increased by two times, bare remained stable; (2) Temperature significantly influenced land, forests, grasslands, GDP population growth impacted water bodies surfaces; (3) The predicted map for 2020 achieved high accuracy (Kappa = 0.85); (4) By 2040, are expected remain dominant, grasslands decreasing, projected increase. Discussion highlights complex interactions Hainan. findings provide valuable insights policy development, ecological region.
