ABSTRACT Promoting the coordinated symbiosis of green water-use efficiency (GWUE) and new urbanization (NU) performs a vital function in facilitating high-quality development China. Based on panel data 28 cities Huaihe River Ecological Economic Belt (HREEB) from 2011 to 2020, this study first evaluates GWUE NU, then uncovers their spatio-temporal evolutionary characteristics. On basis, coupling coordination degree (CCD) model, ordinary spatial econometric model are used analyze evolution pattern driving factors CCD between NU. The results show that: (1) exhibits modest downward trend, with lower reaches being much higher than middle upper reaches. (2) NU has increased overall by 43.65%, showing northeastern high southwesterly low distribution. (3) is rising, high-value areas mainly distribute Yangzhou–Taizhou region Southern Shandong region, while low-value concentrate (4) analysis shows that industrial structure, technological level, water resource management contribute significantly directly CCD, but spillover effects markedly different.

Beijing Plain is an important region for ecological planning and management. In the past decade, human activities have dramatically changed spatial landscape patterns of greenspaces in Plains. However, very few studies assessed main causative factors these changes. Herein, we analyzed Plains between 2015 2020 using multi-source remote sensing data, geographical information system, pattern index. Additionally, utilized gray correlation analysis to quantitatively analyze contributing dynamic changes greenspace patterns. We found that showed a gradual increase annually from 2020. Further, conversion types throughout study period mainly included interconversion woodland cropland, water, impervious surfaces. The transfer out woodlands has been decreasing while increasing. Grassland shrubs were almost entirely converted into other land use types. fragmentation overall reduced, aggregation increased, patches tended be fully distributed, connected, simpler, concentrated, regular. advantages landscapes gradually becoming more evident. Population urbanization, rapid economic growth, policies affecting findings provide scientific reference adjust structure, transform upgrade existing greenspaces, ensure sustainable development cities.

Long-distance sewerage network systems have serious vulnerabilities, specifically pipeline blockage, leakage, sedimentation, mixed connection, and other problems. A vulnerability evaluation system for a sewage was established in this study with the comprehensive consideration of three aspects: basic attributes network, operation maintenance (O&M) drivers, structural level. First, we obtained indicators through data collection preliminary selection screening indicators.
