Perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and novel PFAS are continuously detected in soil environments have attracted increasing attention. The presence of microplastics (MP) systems is concern worldwide. However, the effects MP on adsorption by remain largely unexplored. In this study, we compared behavior four polyamide (PAMP), microplastic - mixtures (PAMP+soil), to investigate soil. results show that Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), 6:2 fluorotelomer sulfonic (6:2FTSA), Perfluorohexanesulfonate (PFHxS) Perfluorinated (2-methyl-3-oxohexanoic acid) (GenX) present different behaviors onto PAMP, PAMP+soil due their physicochemical properties. similar laws founded capacity with respect PFAS, stronger than (20–56 times), followed (72–122 times). PAMP amends into greatly inhibits because surfaces covered particles or biofilms. inhibition rate decreases dosage. addition significantly enhances alone. This enhancement indicates input might reduce mobility improving Furthermore, co-culture time mixture has a slight impact adsorption, suggesting effect almost stable. findings study contribute understanding environmental provide valuable reference for evaluating potential risk posed co-existence organic contaminants ecosystems.
