In recent times, the densely populated Bengaluru metropolis in India has faced challenges related to water scarcity, particularly relying on Krishna Raja Sagara (KRS) dam. The forecasting of reservoir levels become challenging due spatio-temporal fluctuations meteorological conditions and complex physical processes. As a result, developing suitable management meet population's demand requires an accurate dependable estimate dam's level. This work attempted use daily weather data by utilizing long short-term memory (LSTM) networks. Seven high-performance models (viz., M1 M7) with varying window sizes horizons have been trained this their performance is compared. metrics revealed that M7 model outperformed other for level prediction, coefficient determination (R2) score 0.93, root mean square error (RMSE) 2.94, absolute percentage (MAPE) 0.01. study also provides valuable dashboard tracking forecasted largest Cauvery basin. Finally, innovative integration LSTM technology predictions dam not only addresses posed but sets new standard precision forecasting, thereby establishing crucial decision-support tool real-time monitoring enhanced resource India's metropolis.

Aquaculture pond is a dynamic ecosystem with continuously changing physical, chemical, and biological elements. Environmental issues often create significant hindrances to long-term development of aquaculture industries in developing countries. Lack knowledge on scientific farm management has resulted excessive usage antibiotics other chemicals leading impacts the surrounding ecosystem. While focussing sustainable aquaculture, bottom sediment quality an important aspect aquaculture; but it receives far less attention than water quality. Usually, deterioration accumulated organic matter increases oxygen demand influences redox potential. This creates anoxic conditions sediments at sediment-water interface, releases ammonia, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogenous compounds toxic gases, massive losses production. could therefore reduce production capacity be profitable farmers, discouraging them from entering sectors, especially younger generation. An eco-friendly, convenient low-cost waste strategies need adopted mitigate these make system productive profitable. review critically evaluates importance, feasibility bioremediation potential Immobilized microbial consortia (IMC) general specifically addresses Bacillus MCCB 101 for detritus or degradation, nitrifying bacterial (NBC) nitrification photosynthetic sulphur bacteria (PSB), Rhodospeudomonas julia 147, sulphide mitigation ponds towards converting system.
