Plant-microbe interactions are pivotal for ecosystem dynamics and sustainable agriculture, influenced by various factors, such as host characteristics, environmental conditions, human activities. Omics technologies, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, have revolutionized our understanding of these interactions. Genomics elucidates key genes, transcriptomics reveals gene expression dynamics, proteomics identifies essential proteins, metabolomics profiles small molecules, thereby offering a holistic perspective. Agricultural production faces the dual challenge of increasing output while ensuring efficient resource utilization and environmental sustainability amid escalating global climate change relentless increases in human demand. This study used provincial panel data from China 2001 to 2022 address these challenges. It systematically evaluated dynamic evolution agricultural green total factor productivity (AGTFP) by selecting “resources” “energy” as core input factors adopting a dual-output approach focused on “economic” “low-carbon” outcomes. thoroughly analyzed synergistic mechanisms such natural endowment, technology, economic development, regulation, exploring their impact AGTFP enhancement through innovative application fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) method. There was significant upward trend across China, indicating notable progress development. Additionally, three pathways promoting improvement were identified: resource–economy-driven, technology–policy-guided, multifactor-synergy. Simultaneously, two modes constraining uncovered: economy–policy suppression capital–economy suppression, highlighting pivotal role regional development conditionality converting advantages. Moreover, contributions exhibited temporal dynamics. Major events, 2008 financial crisis policy shifts, including 2012 “Ecological Civilization” strategy, significantly altered effectiveness existing configurations. Enhancing agricultural productivity in developing countries is crucial for attaining the sustainable development goal 2.4 by 2030 through integrating information and communication technology (ICT) renewable energy. Gross ecosystem product (GEP) refers to the direct measurement of a region's supply capabilities and basis for value realisation. China has made clear arrangements establishing GEP assessment regulations, with 36 districts counties currently conducting assessment, which 24 have executed dual assessments regional gross domestic (GDP) GEP. To explore influence on common prosperity urban rural regions, this study conducts quasi-natural experiment using staggered difference-in-differences model examine data from 1946 2012 2022. The results reveal that can significantly reduce urban-rural income gap improve residents' income, thereby realising prosperity.
