This study deals with the separation and detection methods for 12 synthetic musk compounds (SMCs), which are some of emerging contaminants in fish samples, widely present environmental media, can be considered serious risks due to their harmful effects. For co-extracted substances target SMCs samples after ultrasonic extraction, four solid-phase extraction (SPE) sorbents were investigated. ABSTRACT The present study aims to assess surface water quality (WQI), wastewater (WWQI), and the presence of toxic chemicals, including metals endocrine‐disrupting compounds (EDCs), in Saigon River basin. A total 27 samples from nine locations basin 30 10 industrial parks were collected 2023. The rapid growth of the human population in recent years significantly accelerated urbanization across ASEAN countries. Among them, Vietnam emerged as one fastest-developing nations, undergoing swift industrial expansion and urban development. While this progress brought economic benefits, it also posed serious environmental challenges, most notably, increasing presence endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) natural environment. These harmful pollutants, often derived from processes, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, domestic waste, infiltrated ecosystems through air, water, particularly soil. core problem addressed study was accumulation EDCs soils, which served major reservoirs long-term risks to both ecological systems public health. Steroid hormones, recognized as emerging environmental contaminants, have garnered increasing attention in recent years. The present work studied the distribution characteristics environment, bioaccumulation aquatic products, and associated health risks of typical steroid hormones from commercial freshwater aquaculture farms operating under different modes (monoculture polyculture).
