Infrastructure upgrading has an important impact on environmental protection and low-carbon development. Based the panel data of 277 prefecture-level cities in China from 2005 to 2021, we examined infrastructure synergistic effect pollution reduction carbon (Pc) by using multiple-period difference-in-differences method. The results show that can achieve Pc. Additionally, compared with resource-based cities, peripheral central western Pc is more significant non-resource-based eastern cities. Meanwhile, promote promoting scientific technological talent agglomeration (Tg) industrial (Ig). Finally, policy synergy analysis shows single pilot dual have a obvious Pc, becoming first high-speed rail (HSR) then “Broadband China” strategy (BCS) stronger Therefore, effectively alleviate pressures reduction, emphasis should be placed common development transportation digital infrastructure.
