Ecosystem services (ES) such as carbon storage (CS), soil conservation (SC), habitat quality (HQ), and water yield (WY) play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance supporting sustainable regional development. With increasing environmental changes, understanding the spatiotemporal dynamics of these their driving factors has become essential science. This study focuses on Nanchang metropolitan area, quantifying CS, SC, HQ, WY from 2000 to 2020. It explores impacts major factors, including climate, topography, social aspects, spatial heterogeneity ES. The results reveal that between 2020, CS HQ decreased by 0.1385×108 tons/ha 0.0507, respectively, while SC increased 2.4754×10 9 1.6668×10 10 m 3 , respectively. Notable exists correlation changes distribution ESs is higher mountainous regions compared central plains. Among human population (POP) gross domestic product (GDP) predominantly influenced whereas climate POP drove SC. Changes were primarily affected topography. These findings suggest need focus key formulate targeted land policies aimed at enhancing ES value area.

The Han River Ecological Economic Belt (HREEB) has a substantial amount of water resources; however, its distribution is uneven, and issues such as seasonal engineering shortages are prevalent. This necessitates thorough assessment the current resource situation trends in carrying capacity (WRCC) to provide scientific support for rational allocation resources. study employed RAGA-PP model establish WRCC evaluation index system composed four subsystems: resources, economy, society, ecological environment. 17 major cities HREEB was evaluated from 2008 2022. differentiation method introduced compare reliability with three methods: entropy weight TOPSIS method, rank sum ratio principal component analysis method. In addition, an obstacle degree analyze factors influencing enhancement. results indicated following. (1) test models, found have highest value, showed that it more reliable HREEB. (2) underwent significant changes between (3) Shiyan Wuhan, which located eastern part HREEB, were high Hubei, low Henan, satisfactory Shaanxi. (4) subsystems exhibited fluctuating obvious internal variations. (5) problems guideline layer consistent across all limited per capita resources being primary issue indicator layer. ABSTRACT To study the connection between land use and regional ecological carbon stocks, predicting future evolution of understanding trends changes in stocks are essential to environmental protection sustainable development. However, within ecosystems driven by land‐use land‐cover change (LUCC) characterized large uncertainties. This took Tianshan North Slope Economic Belt Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China, as an example investigate spatiotemporal their relationship with LUCC, used 11 variables a Geo Detector model analyze drivers spatial differentiation stocks. We trained six predict under natural development scenario (NDS) (EPS) 2030. The following results were obtained: (1) was dominated unused 20‐year period (2000–2020). Grassland showed continuous decrease; decreased then increased, while others continued increase. most drastic for cropland, which 7785 km 2 (an increase 39.76%), grassland reduced 9402 (a decrease 9.05%). (2) Carbon increasing decreasing trend, overall 2.05 × 10 6 t. distribution more centralized southwest, showing slice‐like bands, higher values irregular form northeastern portion region. (3) NDS reached 1427.50 5 t, 6.26 t compared 2020; EPS, they 1427.79 6.29 mainly due conversion. Therefore, restoration should continue be strengthened future. Net primary productivity (NPP) is a key metric for evaluating ecosystem carbon sink capacity and defining vegetation. Despite extensive research on vegetation NPP, much relies coarse spatial resolution data, which often overlooks regional heterogeneity, causing inaccuracies in NPP estimates. Therefore, this study employed the improved CASA model, based GF-SG kNDVI methods, to estimate at 30 m Zoigê Plateau from 2001 2020. The effects of anthropogenic climatic factors were quantified through residual partial correlation analyses. These results indicated following: (1) NDVI derived fusion method aligns closely with Landsat (R2 ≈ 0.9). When contrasted using alone, incorporating into model enhances assessment accuracy. (2) Vegetation has fluctuated upward by 2.09 gC·m−2·a−1 over last two decades, higher values centrally lower edges. (3) Monthly analysis indicates almost no temporal response temperature (97.42%) but significant cumulative precipitation (80.3%), longer accumulation periods south. Annual reveals that correlates more strongly than precipitation. (4) changes are jointly influenced climate change (48.46%) human activities (51.54%), latter being dominant factor. This deepens understanding dynamics offers insights estimating high spatial-temporal resolutions.

The control of carbon emission is great significance to environmental protection. Transport accounts for about 10% total emissions. Therefore, energy conservation and reduction in the transportation sector have become critically important. This study takes 30 provinces China as examples uses a panel VAR (PVAR) model impact various factors on emissions from aspects supply demand. In terms supply, structure, investment, road density are key factors, their impacts dynamic. On demand side, industrial per capita GDP, urbanization rate major influencers. Specifically, openness levels drive east, GDP central region, structure west. paper will provide concrete feasible policy suggestions characteristic emission.
